• William Copp came over to this country from England in the good ship Blessing in 1635. He located himself at Boston, Mass. He was 26 years of age at the time of his migration. He was by trade a shoemaker, was from London, England, and was admitted freeman of the Massachusetts Colony June 2, 1641. He married Judith ———.
2428, p 322• While updating my Copp family came across a Memorandum of the Copp Family written by Samuel Copp 4th grandson of William Copp who came to New England. He states, “London, 17 June, 1635, William Cope, aged 26, and Richard Cope, aged 24, embarked for New England in the bark Blessing, Joseph Leicester, Master.”
