• My father.
[He] was never sick a day in his life. On the day he died, he walked his usual 8-mile round trip to the library, ate a healthy diet of fruits, whole grains, and plenty of vegetables, and died in his sleep. He was musically inclined, as were all of the children in that family. He read extensively, and played the sax and clarinet.
2077• My father loved the latest inventions, and we were always the first one on the block to get the biggest most fabulous Hi-Fi or TV. He bought the first television and invited the whole neighborhood in to watch television, and they sat there in straight chairs like they were at the movies! He kept inviting them back, and mom put up a howl once she saw her roll in all this was hostess serving the drinks and popcorn!
2181• Dad was the first twin. Dad told us that it took some time for his parents to select names, and that, at first, they were called “Pete” and “Re-Pete.”
