WALTERS, Fred, laborer navyyard
84• I work on the outside whenever I can get out.
I have been cutting trees and brush down on the beach and have made a nice place for people to sit who can’t go down the stairs.
All the big wood I bring home and saw and split it for winter.
I like the outside work and it keeps me fit.
The boys all say I look better than I did when I retired, nearly 11 years ago. I never felt better, sleep well, eat 3 meals a day and enjoy every meal.
Zena is also well, so we have lots to be thankful for. I can swim an hour without touching bottom and dance every night in summer, so you see I am still hitting on all 8.
