• Loyd Hamilton Wilbur, 63, orchardist of Sutter county, died in his home on the Pease road near Yuba City Sunday, following a long illness.
Wilbur was born in Sutter county in 1880, the son of A. H. and Elmira Wilbur. He was educated at St. Matthews Military Academy in Santa Cruz and the University of California. He had engaged in farming in Sutter county since 1900 and was much interested in problems pertaining to fruit growing. Wilbur was known for his interest in outdoor sports and wildlife.1277
