• John and Hannah had twelve children, all born on the same farm. One son was Samuel and one was Justus. Justus is Beryl’s direct ancestor through John William Bass, Harper Bass, and Beryl’s mother Winnifred Bass. Both Beryl and I are quite familiar with the farm which had been in the family name for just short of 190 years.
