Individual Notes
• According to a great granddaughter, Beth Currie of Marysville, MI, who died in 1983, William’s father was Thomas Gallagher, born in Belfast, Ireland. However, this needs to be verified, because we have found no record of his migrating to New York, and the given name “Thomas” does not recur in the family, which is unusual, given their penchant for reusing names.
1500, p 1• To be truthful, we “inherited” the name Thomas as William’s father, and I don’t really know where it came from.

• Livermore in Derry Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, no longer exists, now being located within the Conemaugh Dam Flood Control Area.
