• Honoree of the Albion Walter Hewlett Award, established 1983, to honor “the physician of care and skill who is committed to discovering and using biologic knowledge, wisdom and compassion to return patients to productive lives.” Recipients are also noted for being role models for future academician and practitioners of medicine.2204
• HEWLETT – In Philadelphia, Pa., November 10, 1925, Dr. Albion Walter Hewlett, father of Louise and William Redington Hewlett and son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hewlett, aged 50 years.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning, November 17, at Grace Cathedral, California and Taylor streets. Interment private.2205
