Individual Notes
• Moses was a few days short of 49 years of age at the time of his death. Evidently Moses became ill and wrote his will Feb. 8, 1763. He also was involved in several real estate transactions at this time, possibly to put his affairs in order. The will, admitted to probate Sept. 6, 1763, names “his loving wife Rebecca,” four sons Adam, Israel, Moses and Abraham and four daughters Mabel, Ann, Rebecca and Deborah. The daughter, Ann, is not mentioned in the Hurlbut Genealogy. Since the childrfen whose dates of baptism are known are listed in the will in the order of their birth, it is assumed that Ann was born after Mabel and before Rebecca. Since a son, Israel, was born 19 months after Mabel, it can also be concluded that Ann was born at least a year after the birth of Israel who was born or rather baptised May 18, 1740. There is a period of four and one-half years between the birth of Israel and next recorded baptism, Rebecca, Oct. 4, 1745. Ann, and possibly Moses, could have been born during this period.1483, p 11-a
