• My grandfather became a farmer, and a Baptist preacher, and lived and died in Wells, Vermont, at about 60 years of age, after bringing up a family of six sons and four daughters. The sons, my uncles, were named Eber, Samuel, Zael, David and John P.; Submit, Keziah, Charlotte and Rhoda were the names of the daughters, my aunts.1643, p 1
