Isaac, like Elizabeth Maryfield, was born in England and belonged to the Church of England. Since there were relatively few natives of England in Mosa at the time, and in view of the proximity in the returns, one may speculate that Elizabeth’s maiden name may have been Simpson.298, p 3,690, p 2
