She worked for 15 years for Kansas City Star newspaper as the head of circulation. She also worked for various grocery stores and butcher shops as the head cashier, before she began working for Roos-Atkins as their head cashier. She moved to Fresno in 1948 until moving to Dos Palos in 1985. She enjoyed her retirement playing bridge and knitting. She lived in Dos Palos until her death. She was priced in death by her husband, Steven Foster Davidson of Dos Palos, in 1949.2092, p 2
