• Now about Floyd. I believe he was a child of Diana’s but not of Jacob’s. From the records I have found so far, when a child was illegitimate, they were bound. At least this has been my experience in Alleghany Co.
Unless there is information in the county records, there probably will never be a way to determine who Floyd’s father is.2905, p 2

Surviving are five daughters and four sons, of whom Wilbur is a member of the Long Beach fire department and Raymond of the police department. She also leaves two sisters, 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.3556
