Andrew McCOMB came from Scotland with a land grant in Augusta County from King George II, Land Book 26, page 172, Land Office, Richmond, Virginia. He and his wife, Jane, were members of the Tinkling Springs Presbyterian Church in Fisherville and were baptized there in 1746, Augusta County, Virginia Heritage Book, 1732-1998.
