• I am excited because I think I have found two of the Zamzow siblings arrival in Baltimore on the ship Johanne Marie from Bremen. It arrived in Baltimore on 21 May 1874 with passengers Anna Zamzow (23) and Franz (18) from Prussia. I don’t know Anna’s birth date but Franz’s baptism was in 1856 which would have made him 18 in the year of 1874 as listed on the ship’s manifest. And, Anna is listed as a “musician,” which in light of her father owning a violin factory, makes me believe these two are our family members.3268
