The wedding took place at the residence of Rev. F. Dewey Ehle. After January 1 Mr. and Mrs. Merrill [sic] will be at home, 281 Lysander Pt. Mr. Merrill has very many friends at Anthony and in Harper county and all of them will wish him much joy and happiness.366

• On the 1926 marriage record to James J. Howland, Madeline age is given as 44 years; therefore b abt 1882.380

• On her application, April 1943, for Social Security, Maude Madelaine gives her birthdate as 8 Jul 1895 in Bay City, Michigan; she gives her name as Maude Madelaine Merrell.383
