• Our old friend and former townsman, Edward G. Merrell, now living at Detroit, was married Tuesday, November 24, [1914] to Madeleine Ehle Day, of that city. The wedding took place at the residence of Rev. F. Dewey Ehle. After January 1 Mr. and Mrs. Merrill [sic] will be at home, 281 Lysander Pt. Mr. Merrill has very many friends at Anthony and in Harper county and all of them will wish him much joy and happiness.381
