• My friend, Carol Bell, has been doing some Elk Run Township research recently. I discussed your Mary A. Mayer problem with her. From her personal files, she came up with some interesting data that she gave to me to pass on to you as a gift.
She feels that the father of Mary A. Mayer is the Frederick Myers shown in School District #3 of Elk Run Township as of 1828. She said to tell you that she cannot prove that but as further evidence, she pulled the 1820 Census for Elk Run Township, page 58A, which shows:
Frederick Myers 1 male 26-45 (born ca 1775-94)
1 female 26-45 (born ca 1775-94)
We cannot find Frederick Myers in Columbiana County in 1830. [also could not find in 1830, Ancestry, 26 Jun 2023]2277, p 1
