• Dear Gretchen and David
I’ll write on this sheet rather than on the card as I know from past experiences how my poor penmanship can deface a pretty card.
You were most thoughtful and sweet to send me the baby announcement and you’ll never know how much I appreciate hearing from you and how thrilled I was by your news. I hope that both Mother and son are doing well!! I’m glad that there is to be another Nelson Mills. I’m also partial to the name David because of my Dear “Uncle Dave.”
Tomorrow I plan to get some blue yarn and start a sweater for little Nelson. I’m sure that now he has all of the infant things that a baby will need. So I will make a size one or size two sweater for him, and I will be sure that it will fit in case I am a bit slow.
Congratulations, best wishes and my love,
Hally813
