• Described as of “Berwickshire.” Departure from Loch Broom, Scotland. Arrived in Nova Scotia at Pictou River on ship Hector in 1773 with wife, Janet Munro, and daughter, Sarah. Ship's manifest list a Robert Innes, child of Duncan, as “child under 2 years” of age, whom Susan Hill believes to be Sarah, since there is no Duncan Innis listed as a passenger.1671, p 1 & p 159

• Robert Innis of Berwickshire and Janet Munro came to Pictou in ship Hector in 1773. Went first to Windsor, but finally settled in Minudie, N. S.1702, p 2

• Robert Innis and wife Isabel sailed from Scotland in ship Hector. Landed first at Pictou, then went to Windsor, thence to Minudie. There were four daughters.1673, p 1
