• Eleanor Lumley (Nelson) was born in County Down, Ireland, January 9th, 1792; married James Lumley May 11th, 1820, and came to Ontario and settled in Dunwich, south of Iona; they had seven children. Mr. Lumley died September 21st, 1851, aged 56 years and 6 months, and she now lives with her son Ephraim in the enjoyment of good health.

• The James Lumley who your history says died in 1881 is undoubtedly the James Lumley, son of John and Ann Lumley, who was born March 22, 1795. He married Eleanor Nelson, and died September 21, 18
51, (as your genealogical chart also states). He and his wife are buried in the Old Iona Cemetery near the village of Iona, Ontario, Canada.
