• Dea. Thomas Bass settled in Medfield, where he lived five of six years, when he returned to Braintree, was deacon of the church, resided there until his death.1439, p 90

• Thomas, born in 163-. Dea. Thomas Bass died 8 Jan. 1719/20 in Weymouth, the home of his second wife Susanna (Bates) Blanchard. He married, first, in 1660, Sarah Wood, daughter of Nicholas Wood.2458, p 219

• Thomas lived in Braintree until 1657, when he removed to Medfield later called Sherborn. In 1674 a deed shows him in ‘Bogestown near the town of Medfield’ on land given him by his father Samuel. Here it appears he had three children born; a daughter Sarah, and Abigail, dates of the first two not given. About 1670 he returned to Braintree and became Deacon of the church.1445, p 5
