2890, p 1• At this time couples could come from Baltimore to Ellicott City on the trolley car line. Ellicott City is situated right over the county line and at that time you could obtain a one day license at the court house. Couples would then walk down the hill to First Lutheran Church and the pastor would marry them in the parlor.
Witness: Mrs. I. Wegner. We assume that “Mrs. I. Wegner” was the wife of the pastor as she was a witness at a lot of weddings!
