478, p 1• Louise Moody was born Louise Eckart in Oakland, California, on August 22, 1934, to Robert and Aileen Eckart. She was raised in Wailua, Kauai and spent the WWII years in the Bay Area. After graduation from Stanford she married Alan Fayé, Jr., of Waimea, Kauai and they had three children, Ian, Robert, and Megan. She resettled in San Diego and taught for twenty years, eventually marrying John Moody. She retired in 1992 and psent her later years joyfully spending time with her chidrlen and grandchildren, supporting the arts and singing in the choir at her church in Point Loma.
