• Mose Clark, his wife and family of seven children came and settled down on the northeast part of the northeast fractional quarter of section 35. Mr. Clark was a Baptist minister, and was born in the State of New York. Mr. Clark sold out to Elnathan Botsford in the spring of 1832, and with his family left the township. Two of his children died before he left. Mr. Clark was 48 years old when he came here in 1825.550, p 876
