• Assistance Needed – A widow lady, Sarah Ann Buckmaster, just arrived across the Plains with seven small children, is now residing about twelve miles above Georgetown, El Dorado county, near Knox’s old ranch, and is in a destitute condition. Her husband was killed on the Plains. She has one brother in this city, Frederick Walter, a teamster, and one somewhere in the Sacramento Valley, Mathias Walter, who will doubtless aid her when they see this paragraph. She wishes them to come to her. W. T. Gibbs, of Georgetown, will give directions where she may be found.3186
